Quick and easy meals in a flash:

As a busy home-school momma I try to meal plan and stick to it but of course life happens and inevitably interruptions tend to come and upend even the best laid plans. So, I like to have an arsenal of recipes to pull from in a flash that are not only quick, easy to put together, delicious, healthy and I keep several comfort food type meals in my list too.  I will add to this list periodically or when I find an amazing new recipe that I think you all will love and that your kiddos will love too because lets be honest, if our kiddos won't eat it we usually don't end up making it right?!๐Ÿ˜‰

If you have a yummy list of your family faves I'd love for you to share the wealth with the rest of us! I'd love to glean from your baking/cooking insights, tips and tricks and look forward to sharing our recipes together friends ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy cooking!

The journey that brought me to homeschooling: part II

Hi friends, Today I thought I'd share about our journey to homeschooling with you. I've had a few inquiries on my Instagram account about what got me into homeschooling lately and I'd love to take you on the journey with me while I reminisce :) So lets go back to the beginning, a little over 9 years ago my kiddos and I were living a completely different life. We were barely hanging on by a thread and just trying to survive another day. That's life, living with an abusive alcoholic and meth addict. I am so grateful and beyond thankful to say that my kiddos and I are survivors of domestic violence/abuse and that we are here, thriving and living an incredible life. One that God has brought so much restoration and healing to, we are safe, happy, healthy and loving the life we are privileged to be living. If you or anyone you know happens to be in a horrible situation, living with a violent partner I encourage you to seek help when it's safe for you/them to do so and t

Excellent & affordable math program for kiddos: A+ Interactive Math

Hi friends,  I want to tell you about this great math program I've discovered that's beneficial for both homeschool & public school students alike. If you have a kidddo that is struggling a bit in math, perhaps they have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the subject, struggle to grasp math concepts, finds some topics confusing or just plain out "doesn't like math", I think this program could be a perfect fit for them. With  A+ interactive math your kiddos have access to the math help they need & you have the key to a wonderful resource that will help you both achieve your math goals and give you some peace of mind knowing your kiddos are getting assistance that will help them thrive in math. They provide a multi sensory, all encompassing program that easily caters to children of all learning abilities & those with special needs as well by incorporating multiple learning styles. The owner/creator, Vinod spent years researching the best methods f

My hope for you friends, is that traveling during this past crazy 14-15 months (of life during the pandemic & all the chaos that has ensued) has been a possibility/reality in one way or another, but for those who've had to put travel plans on the back burner (perhaps due to numerous trips being cancelled or forfeited due to the pandemic) maybe it's time to pull those plans back onto the front burner, crank up the heat & get yourself ready for a trip you won't forget. Join me while we talk about one of my families favorite places to visit in the United States. We hope you will grow to love it & place it on your must see list (if it isn't there already๐Ÿ˜‰) & that these 10 tips will help prepare you & your family or friends for the grand adventure you are sure to have wh
